Twitter is planning to launch a free analytics dashboard for users and businesses to understand how people are interacting with their tweets. Twitter is planning to launch the analytics dashboard in Q4 of 2010.
Ross Hoffman, a member of Twitter’s business development team revealed the analytics platform at the Sports Marketing Summit, but he was talking in the context of sports, so it is not 100% confirmed.
The team working on the analytics project used to be part of a company called Trendly. Twitter acquired Trendly this past June. Twitter will show you which of your tweets are spreading and will show you who the most influential people in your network are.
