Twitter is taking meetings with Hollywood networks and producers to create an original video series according to AdWeek. The original series would air on Twitter’s web and mobile applications.
Twitter’s advertising revenues are growing by leaps and bounds. They are selling ads in the form of mobile hashtags and branded pages. For example, Twitter built a #nascar hashtag page that shows selected tweets from NASCAR drivers and images that are related to the races. Twitter would not make the show themselves. It would just be broadcasted on their website and mobile apps.
