U.S. News & World Report Print Edition Is Shutting Down

U.S. News & World Report is shutting down their printing operations and is moving completely online. December 2010 will be their last issue according to an employee memo. U.S. News is best known for publishing college rankings. Below is what the employee memo said:

“All of us at U.S. News Media Group have been aggressively responding to the changing habits in the media marketplace, and these latest moves will accelerate our ability to grow our online businesses and position ourselves to take advantage of the emerging platforms for distributing information such as the iPad and Android tablets,” stated the internal memo.
