eBay founder contributes to Versa’s seed funding

Versa is a startup that puts together sponsored op-eds that is called Featured Perspectives. Versa has announced that they have raised additional funding led by The Omidyar Network, which is the venture capital firm created by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar. Versa has now raised a total of $2 million in seed funding. Other investors that participated in this round include John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and Quotidian Ventures. Versa used to be known as ElectNext. The Versa Media Network connects online publishers and organizations that want to pay to have their opinions and content featured in articles.
