Wacom has announced a new gadget called the Intuos Creative Stylus. The Intuos is a pressure-sensitive digital pen that can be used for drawing and painting on an iPad. The Intuos Creative Stylus has a pressure sensitivity of 2048 pressure levels, which means it feels like you are holding an actual pen up against a paper. It is also good at rejecting unintentional touches when used with apps that integrate with Wacom’s technology.
The Intuos Creative Stylus uses Bluetooth 4.0 Smart technology to ensure connection to various types of iPads.
Wacom created a digital notebook app called Bamboo Paper. The Bamboo Paper app is now compatible with the Creative Stylus. It is designed for the iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad Mini. The Intuos Creative Stylus is compatible with apps like the Autodesk SketchBook Pro for iPad, ArtRage, ProCreate, and Psykopaint.
The Intuos Creative Stylus is available in two variants: black and black/blue. The Intuos Creative Stylus uses a thin AAAA battery that has a long life.
The Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus retails for $99. It will be available at the start of October at Best Buy.
