Walmart has dropped the price of the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5s and 5c as part of a deeply discounted “permanent price change” starting today. The 16GB iPhone 5c costs $29 with a two-year phone contract. It used to sell for $49 at Walmart. The Apple retail store is selling it for $99 with a two-year contract. Walmart is selling the iPhone 5s for $99, which is down from $149. The two-year contracts are available through Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. The deal is only available at Walmart’s stores. The iPhone 5s starts at $199 in Apple Stores and Apple.com.
