BURN is a feature documentary about firefighters that work in Detroit. The documentary is told through the eyes of Detroit firefighters, who are charged with having the thankless task of saving a city that is considered “dead.” BURN debuted at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival in April 2012 and the film won the Heineken Audience Award. When the documentary was being put together, every network and production company told them that there was no audience for a firefighter film. There is no release date for DVDs or a theatrical release. The documentary still needs donation for support. Brenna Sanchez and Tom Putnam are the producers of the film.
