WATCH: Meet Steve Jobs’ Yacht Named Venus

Posted Oct 29, 2012

Before Apple co-founder Steve Jobs passed away, he was working on building a yacht for his family to use after he was gone.  The yacht is being built in Aalsmeer in the Netherlands.  Jobs was highly involved in the design and he worked closely with Philippe Starck.  The ship is between 230-260 feet long and is made entirely of aluminum, which makes it very light.  There are seven 27-inch iMacs in the wheelhouse.  Jobs’ family will be present for the christening ceremony of the yacht.
