The “Scroogled” campaign continues as Microsoft has released an ad that shows Gmail reads your e-mail in order to generate contextual ads. The ad encourages viewers to switch from Gmail to Outlook.com.
“Don’t want Google snooping on your Valentine?” Microsoft asks. “Google goes through your Gmail to sell ads. Outlook.com doesn’t.” The ad shows a Google mailman delivering a love letter and scans it for keywords.
Well Microsoft is not getting a Valentine’s Day card from Google, that’s for sure. Check out the video below:
