Posted Jun 3, 2014

The Google Chromecast dongle now supports WatchESPN, MLS Matchday, Crunchyroll, and Google+. You can stream all of your archived photos and videos on the Chromecast that you have uploaded to Google+.

Crunchyroll, the Japanese anime and Asian drama shows, also works on the Chromecast. WatchESPN’s various sports programs can be watched on the Chromecast along with the MLS Matchday soccer programs.

If you live in the U.S. and have a TV subscription that includes ESPN, the latest Chromecast version will let you stream to the dongle. This means you can watch ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3, ESPNEWS and ESPN Deporte. ESPN said that ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater will be supported once the channels are in season.
