Western Digital Announces “My Net” Line Of Routers

Western Digital is usually known for building hard drives and streaming boxes. Now they are entering the wireless router market. The new line of Western Digital routers is known as “My Net,” which will be available starting today.

The highest end “My Net” router is the N900. The N900 comes with an internal hard drive. The My Net Central line of routers has two storage options, 1TB and 2TB. The Western Digital “My Net” line of routers are competitively priced. The lowest end router, the My Net N600 is priced at $79.99, and the My Net Central series starts at $299.99.

One of the best features in the “My Net” line of routers is FasTrack. FasTrack is software that is built into the router, which tracks entertainment traffic like gaming and video streaming. Bandwidth is prioritized around this kind of traffic. This will ensure that video streaming will be smooth. The My Net router has at least one USB port.
