WhatsApp founders get added to the Forbes billionaires list

WhatsApp co-founders Jan Koum and Brian Acton were added to the Forbes billionaires’ list. Once the Facebook-WhatsApp deal is complete, Koum will have a net worth of $6.8 billion and Acton will be worth at least $3 billion.

Some of the other tech billionaires that were added to the list include Dropbox CEO Drew Houston and Workday co-founder Aneel Bhusri.

Microsoft co-founder and chairman Bill Gates was named as the richest man in the world again with a net worth of $76 billion. Oracle co-founder and CEO Larry Ellison was ranked number 5 at $48 billion. Google co-founders Larry Page was ranked 17 with a net worth of $32.3 billion and Sergey Brin was ranked 19 with a net worth of $31.8 billion. Amazon.com founder and CEO Jeff Bezos was squeezed between the two of them at $32 billion. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was ranked number 21 at $28.5 billion.
