WideOrbit is a media management software company that is based in San Francisco, Calif. Earlier this week the company announced that they will be buying out Google Radio, the online radio advertising buying service developed by the search engine giant. The financial details were not disclosed.

WideOrbit develops traffic, revenue management, and billing software for online and offline radio companies. Google Radio Automation has about 3,600 customers around the world that WideOrbit will absorb as their own.
