Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) employees celebrated the release to manufacturing of phones powered by the Windows Phone 7 operating system. These Microsoft employees paraded through the Redmond campus this past Friday with iPhone and BlackBerry hearses.
Employees drove around in modified cars and wore fancy dresses that were branded in Windows Phone 7 logos. The hearses were to indicate that Microsoft plans to bury the competition.
Microsoft finished Windows Phone 7 was finished on September 1st and they plan to announce a release date at an open house event on October 11. And what better way to celebrate than with a flash mob dance?
