Posted Nov 18, 2010

Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) is creating a new instant search tool called Rich Search Assist. This tool would compete directly with Google Instant Search. Yahoo! Rich Search Assist will show you search results as you type in the top half of the page. Currently this feature is available only to about 5% of Yahoo!’s total users. Yahoo! will be testing this feature for about a month or two before releasing it to the public. [SearchEngineLand]
