Rumor has it that YouTube will be launching a new subscription-based music service that would compete against services like iTunes Radio, Spotify, Pandora, and Rdio. Billboard reports that the music streaming service will closely resemble Spotify, but with video features.
YouTube’s music service will be available as a free version and a paid version. The free version will give users access to music and videos for free and the paid version will have offline access with no ads. The paid version is believed to cost $9.99 per month.
This deal is reportedly already set with the record labels and publishers.
