Zillow, the popular online real estate company, is launching their first TV ad campaign. The TV ad is called “Long Distance” and it shows the hardships of finding a house while parents have a long-distance relationship. There is a surprise ending and I won’t spoil it for you. The ad is going to air on cable TV networks CNN, HGTV, Lifetime, and USA.
The company hopes that their marketing will help the company stand out more. Zillow chief executive officer Spencer Rascoff said that he believes their brand is not as well known as it should be. Rascoff said that the company is planning to double their advertising spending this year. This is an increase of about $10 million to $15 million.
