ZTE has launched a new personal hotspot that has a projector beam built-in. The ZTE Projector Hotspot will be available in the U.S. later this year. This is the first time that we have seen a projector built into a WiFi device. The device can beam 120-inch images and videos on surfaces. It also has 1080p input support. The device measures at slightly under 5 x 5 inches and weighs less than a pound. The Projector Hotspot has a 4-inch colored touchscreen with an 800×480 pixel resolution. The operating system is based on Android 4.2 and it supports up to 8 users for connecting to the 802.11 b/g/n WiFi network with 4G LTE data speeds. The Projector Hotspot has an HDMI port and a 5000mAh battery as well.
