Zynga Chief Information Officer Debra Chrapaty Leaves For Nirvanix

Zynga Chief Information Officer Debra Chrapaty has stepped down from the company to join cloud storage company Nirvanix as the CEO.  While working at Zynga, Chrapaty oversaw the company’s transition from Amazon Web Services (AWS) to their own proprietary solution.

Before working at Zynga, Chrapaty was in charge of Microsoft’s data center expansion.  Nirvanix raised around $70 million through various funding rounds from investors such as Khosla Ventures and Intel Capital.  Dorion Carroll will become the CIO effective immediately at Zynga.
