Zynga Made $12.5 Million Profit and $307 Revenue In Q3

Social gaming company Zynga has made $12.5 million in profits this quarter. This is down from $27 million in the third quarter of last year. The company made $307 million in revenues this quarter according to an S-1 filing with the SEC.

The revenue is an 80% increase year-over-year for the third quarter. This quarter was much better than Zynga’s second quarter.

During Zynga’s second quarter, the company’s profits were down 90% year-over-year for the quarter ending June 30th. The company made only $1.4 million in profit from $280 million in revenues.

Currently Zynga has 2,789 employees, which is up from 2,543 at the end of June. Zynga’s player count dropped from 232 million to 230 million since July.
