Today Apple released watchOS 7.0.2 with several bug fixes. This is the second minor update to the major watchOS 7 update, which was released last month.

What features are included in watchOS 7.0.2? Mainly, watchOS 7.0.2 fixes a bug that has been causing faster battery draining for many users. And Apple also noted that Apple watchOS 7.0.2 fixes an issue that prevents some users from accessing the ECG app in regions where it is available.

The main watchOS 7 software update included the following features: Family Setup (pairs watches for children); Memoji app; Activity rings optimized for kids; Alerts from “Find My” app; customize activity goals; watch faces are more customizable; Sleep app with new bedtime routine feature; 4 new fitness workouts (Dance, Functional Strength Training, Core Training, and Cooldown); Cycling in Maps; and handwashing reminders.

You can download ‌‌watchOS 7.0.2‌‌ through the Apple Watch app on the iPhone under General > Software Update. Your Apple Watch will need to have at least 50% of battery life and the device has to be charging to install the software update.
