Fans of Apple with deep pockets can get a personal meeting with the company’s chief financial officer and at the same time make a donation to a good cause, as a charity auction for lunch with Luca Maestri and a tour of the Apple headquarters is now live on CharityBuzz. The estimated value for the lunch is $50,000 and there are currently 2 bids with the current bid at $10,500.

The winner can also bring a guest and the whole visit is expected to take about an hour.

This auction is going to run until 2 PM ET on December 5, 2019, and the experience expires one year later. Apple said it will try its best to accommodate a mutually agreed upon date, but the winner will be expected to adhere to the company’s scheduling timetable.

Maestri reports to Apple CEO Tim Cook and he oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, M&A, investing relations, and internal audit and tax functions at Apple. Plus Maestri has more than 25 years of experience leading finance teams at global companies like Xerox and Nokia Siemens Networks. Maestri started his career at General Motors and spent 20 years in financial roles in the Americas, Asia America, and Europe. While working at GM, Maestri was part of the team that had established GM’s regional Asia Pacific operations, including manufacturing investments in China and Thailand. Later, Maestri became CFO of GM’s operations in Europe — which spanned more than 45 countries with annual net revenue of about $40 billion.

Before starting his career, Maestri graduated from Luiss University in Rome with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and received a master’s degree in Science of Management from Boston University.

The auction will benefit the Andrea Bocelli Foundation — which empowers people and communities facing poverty, illiteracy, and distress due to illness, and social exclusion. The Andrea Bocelli Foundation (ABF) was founded in July 2011 by Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and his family.
