  • Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE: GS) is offering a more flexible vacation policy. These are the details.

As hiring talent becomes competitive and Goldman Sachs is fighting a reputation of having a stressful work culture, the company is implementing a policy to help its staff “rest and recharge.”

Now senior bankers will be able to take as many vacation days as they need. This was revealed in a memo to staff that was obtained by CNN Business. Starting next year, all of the company’s staff will be expected to take a minimum of 15 days away from work every year.

The bankers who have not yet been made partners or managing directors will remain on a fixed vacation allotment, but they will be granted 2 extra days starting next year.

“As a firm, we are committed to providing our people with differentiated benefits and offerings to support well-being and resilience,” says the memo.
