The OnePlus 7T has been one of the best-selling Android devices this year. Launched in September 2019 as a successor to the 6T, OnePlus 7T is packed with useful features and a fair price. Are you thinking about buying a OnePlus 7T? Here is a review of the OnePlus 7T in a pros and cons format to help you decide whether to buy it.

Pro: Powerful Chipset And RAM

The 7T features a Snapdragon 855+ processor with the Adreno 640 GPU. This is a premium gaming processor.

And the device also features a whopping 8GB of RAM. This is a significantly higher amount of RAM than many other competing devices.

Pro: Solid Battery Capacity

The OnePlus 7T features a 3800 mAh battery capacity. This enables the device to easily last all day with very active use. And the device features 30W fast charging so you can charge from 0% to 70% within 30 minutes.

Pro: Large Immersive Screen

The OnePlus 7T has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display and an impressive 90 Hz refresh rate. This larger display makes watching videos and playing games feel more immersive. And this refresh rate makes scrolling feel much smoother.

Pro: TUV Certified

The OnePlus 7T is certified by TÜV Rheinland for superior blue light reduction and viewing safety. This means that you should feel less of an eye strain while using the device.

Pro: Superb Cameras

On the back of OnePlus 7T is a triple camera: a 48-megapixel wide camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera. With an ultra-wide angle, you can fit more in the frame with a 117-degree field of view. The rear cameras support up to 4K video recording.

The cameras feature Portrait Mode so you can take great-looking headshots with bokeh effects. Plus there is a Nightscape Mode that makes photos look great in low-light environments as well.

And on the front of the OnePlus 7T is a 16-megapixel camera to take sharper selfies. The front-facing camera supports up to 1080p video recording.

Pro: Favorable Storage Space

The OnePlus 7T features 128 GB UFS 3.0 storage and 8 GB of optimized memory so everything is faster and smoother. This makes transferring files much smoother and faster.

Pro: High-Quality Sound

The OnePlus 7T has Dolby Atmos support and powerful dual stereo speakers. And there is 3D enhancement that offers more balanced sound with or without headphones.

Con: No Wireless Charging

The OnePlus 7T lacks wireless charging. This can be a nuisance for those of you who have wireless chargers at home and prefer that method of powering up your device.

Con: No Official IP Rating

The OnePlus 7 series does not have an official IP rating. So water damage is not covered under the 7T warranty.
