Walmart Inc (NYSE: WMT) announced it has rolled out a new Express Delivery service featuring two-hour delivery of online orders. This service will have an additional $10 charge above the existing delivery fee. And there are around 160,000 items available for purchase through the service.

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the testing of the service at 100 of Walmart’s stores, starting in mid-April. And Express Delivery is expected to be rolled out very soon.

This service also expands on Walmart’s other delivery options, which have no-contact service for its customers. Currently, Walmart has about 74,000 personal shoppers on its staff who are facilitating the personal shopping service. And the company has several partners that deliver the orders. For the 2-hour delivery, the $10 fee will be on top of the typical $7.95 or $9.95 delivery fee.
