Google Checkout Now Free Until 2007

Between Wednesday November 8 and December 31, 2006, Google has made Google Checkout for free for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday seasons. For usual transactions, Google usually collecting 20 cents and 2% of the purchase price per transaction.
Google Checkout is an eBay and Amazon competitor with a couple of hundred stores available to shop within. Google also has another promotional service where “for every $1 merchants spend on the company’s AdWords advertising feature, Google will process $10 in sales for free through Checkout [WSJ].”
There are hundreds of stores available for shopping within Google Checkout including Electronics stores on Buy.com and iRobot, Clothing stores such as Aeropostale and eBags, and Shoe stores such as Rockport and Sports Authority.
