Just in time for the holiday season, Facebook has unleashed a new feature that allows users to tell friends whether they are on the “Naughty” or “Nice” list. This feature was listed within the Facebook Holiday Center [account login required]. “Let Melissa know that she is nice because she made you some cookies. Let Cody know that he is naughty because he ate all the cookies before you even had a chance,” stated Blair Heuer, a Facebook engineer on the company blog.
The Facebook Holiday Center was previously known for sending a “I am thankful for [friend] because [reason]” during the Thanksgiving season. The Naughty and Nice messages will be displayed in the Facebook Mini-Feed and News-Feed unless the messages are privatized. Users may also comment on the reasons why a user is naughty or nice.Â
