TeeBeeDee is marketing itself as a social network for baby boomers since the college demographic is currently controlled by the likes of Friendster and Facebook. TeeBeeDee was created by Robin Wolaner, who was a founder of Parenting Magazine and also was a former executive VP of CNET. Wolaner has also published “Naked in the Boardroom: A CEO Bares Her Secrets So You Can Transform Your Career.”
Although the name of the investors were not revealed, TeeBeeDee has raised $1.6 million as a round of Series A-2. Right now the website is currently invite-only and unfortunately I don’t have an invite to test it out. When I do get one, I’ll make sure to get a review in.
