Yahoo! Answers Seeing Stars & A Message From The President of India

Yesterday, Yahoo! Answers brought a new product feature into the mix.  There is a “star” feature to mark what questions are more popular than other questions.  The stars look similar to the stars in GMail and are a Digg-like trait.  Users can add a star to questions and this gets linked to your profile.  Here is a screen shot that I pulled from the Yahoo! blog:

And speaking of Yahoo! Answers, I noticed that a post that made it to the front page of Reddit was that the President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam posted the question, “What should we do to free our planet from terrorism?”  Yahoo! Answers staff confirmed that this was really posted by the President.  This is part of Yahoo! Answers India’s Ask the Planet promotion.
