YouTube’s Political Video Blog: Citizentube

Steve Grove, the News & Politics editor at YouTube announced a couple of days ago that the video social networking website has created a vlog (video blog) that features content regarding issues prevalent in society today. The vlog is called CitizenTube. The issues aren’t just limited to the 2008 Presidential election, but also includes issues pertaining to global warming, AIDs, gun laws, entrepreneurship, inflation, etc.

YouTube videos that relate to politics are abundant on the social network, but aren’t centralized and organized. This is the problem that Citizentube addresses. Below is a video of Steve at the YouTube headquarters introducing the new service:
