Post DoubleClick Announcement Advice: Yahoo!, Release Content Match For Everyone Soon

I am not going to lie. Yahoo! is one of my most favorite Internet companies. I enjoy using Flickr, Yahoo! Music, MyBlogLog, Yahoo! Widgets, etc. I want to see the company last long and stay competitive.Â
Google announcing its additional advertising arsenal today through the DoubleClick acquisition means that Yahoo! needs to step it up and prevent Google from dominating the market. Seizing a deal with Viacom is a great start, but there are millions of bloggers out there that could have Yahoo! Ads running across their websites, thus bringing Yahoo! more money to gobble up companies like they have done in the past and that Google is proactively doing now. Unleash Content Match for everyone ASAP!Â
I don’t have a problem with Google AdSense, but I think that advertising options should be an open market for everyone that produces content including myself.
