Google Earth LogoTrimble Outdoors has partnered with Google Earth to provide users the ability to view hiking trails via GPS.  Google Earth has partnerships with Backpacker, Bicycling, and Mountain Bike magazines.

This new feature is for outdoor enthusiasts.  Through the partnership with Trimble, Google Earth has audio, video, pictures, and the ability to send GPS data to mobile phones.

The feature is also community-based.  Users can submit their own data on Google Earth via Trimble.  To access the features, there is a checklist for the layers that users want to have displayed.  Users need to checkmark Featured Content and then select Trimble Outdoor Trips.
