Recent Tech Deals: CrispAds, ScanScout, AmazingMoms.com

CrispAds, a blog advertising network has supposedly sold itself on eBay. The amount that the website sold for is unknown, but it is rumored to be asking for $90,000. CrispAds claims that the website had 145 million page impressions in the entertainment section and 118 million page impressions in the technology section. It appears that CrispAds appears to still be online.

The website is a pay per click network. The service is available for RSS feeds and blogs. CrispAds was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine.

ScanScout is a video monetization company that is based in Cambridge, MA (home of Harvard University). The company has raised $2 million from several angel investors including Ron Conway, who invested $150,000 himself. Conway was the founder of Angel Investors, L.P. and is also an investor in Digg, PBWiki, and several other investors. Doug McFarland is the CEO at ScanScout and is a former Executive VP at Advertising.com and former President at Jupiter/Media Metrix

Kaboose has announced that they have acquired AmazingMoms.com for $750,000 in cash and earn-outs. AmazingMoms was founded in 1999. AmazingMoms was created by parents for parents and was founded by Katherine “Kit” Bennett.  The website contains ideas for Arts & Crafts, Children Parties, Playtime, Recipes, Family Fun, and Holidays.
