“If we lose, then what the hell, at least we died trying,” wrote Kevin Rose in response to the number of stories appearing on the homepage of Digg that contain the code used to hack HD-DVD encryption.

Today symbolizes a day where the Digg users have spoken their minds about what they think when administrators delete the stories that they submit.

What will happen from this point forth is a mystery, but Rose knows that his algorithms may have to be tweaked a bit more or Digg users will revolt more and more as their power becomes questioned again. Mashable has additional coverage.
