Presentation Feature Enters The Google Docs Family

Google Docs LogoIn an inevitable move made by Google, Presentations is a new feature that was added to its Docs & Spreadsheets line-up.  The announcement was made yesterday evening, but hints at a Presentations application were obvious.  How so?

In GMail, Google’s email service, there was an option to open attached Microsoft PowerPoint .PPT files through a feature called “View As Slideshow” powered by Google.  Google Presentations can be created and shared via docs.google.com.  Presentations created using Microsoft PowerPoint can be imported by uploading .PPT or .PPS documents in your Google Docs & Spreadsheets account.  The limit is 10MB per file.

The presentation feature is available in 25+ languages.  Below is a video tutorial and overview of the Presentations feature:
