Silverlight is a plug-in used on the web made with Microsoft’s .NET Framework. Silverlight supports AJAX, visual Basic, Python, Ruby-on-Rails, and C#. At the Web 2.0 Conference, Microsoft presented Popfly, a software application that allows users to drag-and-drop items on a browser without any software developer experience.

To use Popyfly, there are 4 primary menus:
1.) Create Stuff allows you to create a Mashup, a Webpage, a Block, and Popfly Explorer. Popfly Explorer allows users to import Visual Studio projects as well as share them.
2.) My Stuff is the portal for users to edit their Profiles, Public Profiles, send and receive messages, and modify Developer Keys and Projects.
3.) Find Stuff is where users can find out what’s popular, search for projects, and search for people
4.) Other Stuff is a way to Tell Friends about Popfly, watch a video tutorial, write in forums, and find help.
