How To Take A Photo With Your iPhone Headphones

You may or may not know this, but you can take a photo on your iPhone using the volume up button on your headphones cable or Bluetooth headset. Samsung Galaxy Nexus Getting Flash and AIR Support In December

Adobe is preparing to launch Flash support for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus by the end of the year. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will run Adobe Flash Player 11.1 and Adobe AIR 3.1 next month. TED Now Has An iPhone App

The TED application has been available on the iPad for about a year, but now the app is available on the iPhone. The iPhone version of the app has the same access to TED’s lectures as the iPad version. You can bookmark and download TED lectures via WiFi. This makes it easier and faster to download and watch TED lectures to your iPhone than downloading them through the iTunes app. You can even stream them to your home TV using Airplay or listen to TEDRadio, the audio-only version of the discussions. General Motors Hits 100 Million Small Block Engine Milestone

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) hit a major milestone this week. The company has built its 100 millionth small block engine, which is 56 years after the first production small block was made. The small block engine was introduced by Chevy in 1955.

Doctor Social Network Doximity Hits 30,000 Users

Doximity is a social network for physicians that was started by Epocrates co-founder and former president Jeff Tangney. Doctors on the Doximity social network are encouraged to collaborate on patient treatment or identify experts for referring patients. Doximity also works well on mobile devices. The company has announced today that over 30,000 physicians are using Doximity as a platform to collaborate. About 30,000 physicians means 5% of the U.S. physician population. Doximity raised $10.8 million in series A funding this past March.

Sony BRAVIA Smart TV Now Has YouTube HD, Facebook, and Twitter

Sony has updated the interface of their BRAVIA smart TVs to support social networking and high-definition YouTube videos. The new BRAVIA firmware has support for Facebook galleries, messages, status updates, and links. There is a Twitter ticket that scrolls updates from your followers. YouTube has been on BRAVIA smart TVs, but the update now has HD support.

Samsung Galaxy Tabs Are Back For Sale In Australia

Samsung has won an appeal to start selling the Galaxy Tabs again in Australia. The court in Australia overturned their injunction in October against the Tabs for violating Apple’s touchscreen technology patents. YouTube Surpasses 21 Billion Video Views In One Month

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) subsidiary YouTube.com has hit 20 billion views in October. This is 50% of all the videos that was watched in the U.S. according to comScore. U.S. Internet users watched 42.6 billion videos in October and YouTube accounted for 20.9 billion of those views. comScore also revealed that YouTube has the highest engagement with users by averaging over 7 hours of video each during the month. Nissan Sells Over 20,000 Leaf Vehicles In First Year

Nissan was at the Tokyo Motor Show and annoucned today that they have sold over 20,000 Leaf vehicles since the car went for sale in December 2010. Of the 20,000 Leaf vehicles, about 9,000 was sold in the United States. About 60% of those sales took place in California. Nissan said that they expect to sell over 10,000 Leafs in the U.S. by the end of 2011. [Autoblog]
