Domino’s Pizza, Inc. (NYSE:DPZ) has designed an iPad app that allows people to design and order pizzas. You can design the pizza on the screen and then order it in real life. The name of the app is Domino’s Pizza Hero. You can use the app to knead the dough, spread the sauce, sprinkle cheese, place toppings, and cut slices.

Google Announces New Search App For iPad [VIDEO]


Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) has announced that they have updated the Google Search app for the iPad. Searching on the new Google iPad app is faster and more interactive. When you start typing, Google Instant starts displaying results. Once you select a website to visit, you will notice that the page will load on a slide-in pane that layers over search results. You can slide back to the pane to the right to get back to the search results. And you can also keep scrolling through the results as the website loads so you can go back and forth from the results to websites.

Facebook Releases App For iPad


Facebook has finally launched an app for the Apple iPad. The app for the iPad looks similar to the new app for the Apple iPhone. Facebook for iPad allows you to view the news feed, pinch a picture to zoom in, swipe the screen to page through albums, and navigate seamlessly from the left pane. Sprint Expected To Be Offering iPad On Their Network This Holiday Season


Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S) is ready to launch the Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad on their network. Sprint would be joining Verizon and AT&T in the iPad data club. The iPad for Sprint is expected to be available starting this holiday season. Sprint is also believed to start offering the iPhone this holiday season too. Learn From Ashley McDowell’s Mistake And Not Buy An iPad From Shady People At A McDonald’s Parking Lot


Ashley McDowell was walking in a McDonald’s parking lot when two men approached her and asked her if she wanted to buy an iPad for $300. She had only $180 on hand, but they gave it to her any way. When she got home, she found out it was a block of wood with the Apple logo painted on the back and icons painted on the front.

British Airways Brings iPads to Flight Staff

British Airways is testing a fleet of iPads for its in-flight crews, Mashable reports, replacing stacks of flight information paper and manuals in some of their flights. The iPads have schedules and safety manuals, but also provide the attendants with information about the customers on the flight, like their meal requests, seating assignment and more. The iPads work on the wireless 3G the British Airways flights are equipped with.

Walmart Laughs Off Apple’s App Rules With iPad-Optimized Vudu Site

Walmart’s Vudu video streaming service is the next in what may be a long line of services that opt for iPad-optimized sites instead of iPad apps. Walmart’s Vudu site launch follows in the steps of Amazon’s Kindle Cloud Reader. The web-based apps (and others by Financial Times and Kobo) use HTML5 to avoid breaking Apple’s restrictions for in-app subscriptions. [Mashable]

Amazon Defies iPad App Rules with HTML 5 Kindle Cloud Reader App

Amazon just launched a new web-based Kindle Cloud Reader app, which allows users to read Kindle e-books on multiple platforms, from Safari to Chrome to—yes, there it is—the iPad. After Apple’s new in-app subscription rules kicked the Kindle Store link off of Kindle apps for iPad, this new Kindle Cloud Reader app allows users to continue to once again buy e-books from the Kindle Store while surfing on their iPads. CNET notes that the app does require an internet connection to sync to a user’s e-book library, but that Amazon also has a caching feature to allow users to continue to read when offline.
