China isn’t the only place with fake Apple stores—Apple has filed suits against two faux stores in New York City that have been selling unauthorized accessories for Apple products. Both stores are in Queens, and Engadget reports that Apple wants “Apple Story” to be forced to change its name. Authorities already seized items from the stores that bear the Apple logo.

Coming soon to NYC’s Grand Central Station: the world’s largest Apple Store. Apple has signed a 10-year deal with the Metropolitan Transit Authority to lease a 23,000-square foot space in Grand Central. The New York Post reports that the MTA believes the deal will “significantly increase” their revenues. The store will also significantly increase traffic in Grand Central Station during Apple’s product release events. NYC commuters will have to wait and see whether the new Apple Store affects their travels.
