Adobe Flash Player 10.1 Will Work On BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7

Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) said that Adobe Flash Player 10.1 will be added to BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7 devices. Adobe announced this at the MAX conference. The plug-in will also be added to WebOS 2.0, Symbian, MeeGo, and the LiMo platform. However there is no word on when the plug-in will hit each platform. [Engadget]
BlackBerry Storm 3 Screenshot Leaks

The Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) BlackBerry Storm 3 has supposedly leaked. A tipster sent a picture of the new, upcoming phone to Berryreview.com. The Storm 3 has a 3.7-inch display with an 8GB memory. The phone also has WiFi connectivity. [BerryReview.com]
BlackBerry App World Now 10,000 Applications Strong

Even though the Apple App Store and Google Android has much higher count of applications, RIM has hit a milestone nonetheless. The BlackBerry App World application store now has 10,000 applications!

BlackBerry App World Decreasing Minimum App Price

Research In Motion Limited (TSE:RIM) is making some substantial changes to BlackBerry App World. RIM is adding credit card and carrier billing over the next several months to BlackBerry App World. The first carrier billing service will be through AT&T.

BlackBerry Torch To Sell On AT&T For $199.99 On August 12

RIM will start selling the BlackBerry Torch 9800 for $199.99 on August 12th through AT&T with a 2 year contract. The phone is also being sold at Best Buy, RadioShack, and Wal-Mart. The Torch has a 3.2″ 360×480 touchscreen, 4.4×2.4×0.57″ dimensions, 5.68 oz. weight, optical trackpad, 4GB flash memory, and 4GB MicroSD card included. There is also a 5 megapixel camera with flash. It can record 640×480 video and it comes with the BlackBerry 6 operating system. The phone also has Bluetooth and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. The full press release is below:

BlackBerry To Get Restricted In The Middle East

Two states in the Gulf has announced bans to certain functions on BlackBerry mobile phones due ot security concerns. The United Arab Emirates is blocking e-mails and Internet access along with IMs. Saudi Arabia is going to prevent the use of BlackBerry instant messaging.

BlackBerry Curve 9300 Gets A Hands On [VIDEO]

The unannounced BlackBerry Curve 9300 was given a hands on by TechnoBuffalo. The 9300 features an optical trackpad, redesigned punch, flush control buttons, new media buttons, volume rocker on the side, and a new back case design. Specs include 3G, WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. RIM Files Trademark Application For BlackBerry Drive

Research In Motion has filed a trademark application for the “BlackBerry Drive.” The BlackBerry Drive is described as “Key fobs; non-electric cables and wires of common metal; small items of metal hardware; goods of common metal not included in other classes.” RIM filed for the trademark on June 11th. BlackBerry Clamshell 9670 and OS 6.0 Gets Reviewed [VIDEO]

The CDMA dual-screen clamshell BlackBerry 9670 has been reviewed on video by Driphter. The phone front screen is “very large.” And the right side has multimedia and volume controls. There is also a QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad. The camera is 5 megapixel. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 480×360 inside screen. It appears that this phone is heading to Sprint.
