General Motors is recalling about 20,000 Cadillac SRX crossover vehicles in China and the U.S. because of transmission defects. General Motors’ Chinese joint venture Shanghai GM is recalling 9,862 of the SRX in China. GM is recalling 8,789 of the SRX in the U.S. The vehicles that were recalled are from between 2010 and 2011. The vehicles were built at GM’s Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) has announced that they have created a network of cameras, radars, and ultrasonic sensors in the 2013 Cadillac XTS cars. This will help drivers avoid road hazards and help avoid potential crashes. In some cases, the 2013 Cadillac XTS will act without an action from the driver such as automatic braking based on obstacle driving.

Cadillac has announced the Ciel concept car. Currently Cadillac only has three models: the Escalade, the CTS, and the SRX. Cadillac will soon be introducing the ATS too. “We’ve got a product onslaught that’s coming. Let’s get our house ready before our guests come in,” said Cadillac marketing chief Don Butler.
