PC manufacturing company Gateway has announced a new line of FX, DX, and SX desktops that have Intel Sandy Bridge processors. The Gateway FX6850-51 costs $999 and has a second generation Core i7 2600 processor, 8GB of RAM, 1TB hard drive, and NVIDIA GeForce GT440 graphics card. The DX series of Gateway computers range from $599 to $749. The DX computers have Core i5 processor options, built in WiFi, 3.5TB of storage, 5.1-channel audio, and Blu-ray drives. And the Gateway SX line of products, including the SX2840-01, range from $499-$549 and offer AMD and Intel processors, 6GB of RAM, integrated/discrete graphics options, and 1TB hard drive. Gateway has launched its first netbook, the LT2000. The netbook comes with a 10 inch display, a 1.6 GHZ Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 160 GB hard drive. It also includes a multi-touch trackpad and a built in camera.

The netbook has a three hour battery life. It is available in two colors – red and black.

The LT2000 goes on sale today.
