It uses 29 kWh of electricity per 100 miles driven. The Fit EV is currently one of the most efficient EVs in the country and is expected to be available in other markets later this year. Matt and Becky Walton were the first ones to receive the car in Ventura County, California. They were the first to register to lease a Fit EV at the Honda website http://FitEV.Honda.com when the registration opened last year. They plan to use the vehicle for commuting purposes. They said that one of the reasons why they bought the car is because the battery pack fully charges in under three hours. The Fit EV is currently available as a lease only at $389 per month over a 3-year term. [SlashGear]
