Rally Software Files For A $70 Million IPO

Boulder, Colorado based Rally Software has filed an S-1 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as part of a $70 million IPO.  Deutsche Bank and Piper Jaffray will be the lead book-running managers for the IPO.  Needham & Company, JMP Securities, and William Blair & Company will be co-managers of the deal.

Piper Jaffray’s Gene Munster Said Apple Will Sell 10 Million iPhone 5 Devices In First 3 Weeks

Kayak Files For $100 Million IPO At $25 Per Share

Kayak.com, the hotel and flight search engine company, has filed for a $100 million IPO with a trading range of between $22 to $25 on the Nasdaq exchange. Kayak will trade under the symbol “KYAK.” Kayak will offer four million shares and will raise a maximum of $100.6 million, which is twice as much as their initial filing.

Study Finds iPhone Users More Brand-Loyal

Analyst Gene Munster has found in Piper Jaffray data that iPhone users are much more loyal to their phone brand than Android and Blackberry users. InformationWeek reports that he estimates about 94% loyalty from iPhone owners when they go to buy their next phone, compared to about 47% loyalty in Android owners and 26% loyalty in BlackBerry owners. Of those surveyed, 42% of Android owners and 67% of BlackBerry owners plan on switching to iPhone with their next purchase.
