HubSpot To Have A $200 Million Valuation After Next Venture Capital Round

HubSpot is a digital marketing company that is close to receiving a new round of venture capital that would give them a $200 million valuation. Google Ventures and Sequoia Capital are rumored to be participating in the next round of funding. HubSpot’s last round of funding was $16 million and it was led by Scale Venture Partners. Thus far the company has raised $33.5 million.
Stella & Dot Raises $37 Million

Stella & Dot was founded by CEO Jessica Herrin, who created and sold WeddingChannel.com to TheKnot.com in her 20′s. Now Sequoia Capital is investing investing in Stella & Dot, a direct-sales jewelry business where women across the country can sell bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc.

Mobile Payment Service Square Raises $27.5 Million

Square Inc. is a mobile payments service company that was founded by Twitter co-founder and chairman Jack Dorsey. Square has raised $27.5 million in a new round of funding led by Sequoia Capital. This gives Square a $240 million valuation. In Square’s last round of funding, the company had a $45 million valuation.

Meebo Raises $27.5 Million In Series D

Meebo announced earlier this week that they have raised $27.5 million in Series D. The funding was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Sequoia Capital, DFJ, Time Warner, and JAFCO. Meebo said that they plan on using the funds to continue expanding upon their platform. Thus far the company has raised $70 million total.

Tumblr Raises $30 Million In Series D

Tumblr, the blog platform based in New York City, that is known to be used by hipsters has raised $30 million in Series D funding. Tumblr now has more in funding than one of their biggest rivals, Automattic, the parent company of open source blog platform WordPress. Tumblr’s $30 million Series D funding was invested by Spark Capital, Union Square Ventures, and Sequoia Capital: Sequoia put in $20 million, Union Square put in $5 million, and Spark Capital put in $5 million. Indian Private-Sales Website Fashion and You Raises $8 Million

Private online apparel retailer company Fashion and You has raised $8 million in funding from Sequoia Capital. Fashion And You sells premium brands at discounted price. Fashion and You is a members-only website that sells international brands, handcrafts, and fashion. “Online private sales is an execution heavy model. We have been good at creating demand and now need to prepare ourselves for massive volumes,” stated Fashion and You company chairman Harish Bahl. Fashion and You is currently growing at 30-40% month on month. Fashion and You appears to be in direct competition with Exclusively.in, a company that raised $2.8 million last month. [India Times]
Nimble Storage Raises $16 Million From Accel, Lightspeed, and Sequoia

Nimble Storage is a converged storage and back-up solution company that has raised $16 million in Series C. The funding came from existing investors Accel Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Sequoia Capital.
