Nike’s “Possibilities” Ad Goes Viral

Nike has created a new ad that has become a YouTube hit.  The video has hit 3.2 million views since being uploaded 2 days ago.  The ad features Serena Williams, LeBron James, and Pique.  The ad is called “Possibilities” and it is the first time that Nike used the “Just Do It” hashtag on Twitter.  Nike is heavily promoting this hashtag as part of the 25th anniversary of the slogan, which was created by advertising guru Dan Wieden in 1988.

Serena and Venus Williams Starring In Apple’s “Do Not Disturb” Ad

Many iPhone owners woke up on New Years Day and their scheduled “Do Not Disturb” feature remained on.  This happened to me too.  I missed a few important phone calls because of this flaw.  Interestingly enough Apple just aired a new commercial that shows the benefit of the “Do Not Disturb” feature starring tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams.

Serena Williams Invests In Mobli

Mobli [iTunes Link] is a photo and video sharing mobile application.  Serena Williams has invested in the company.  Other current investors at Mobli are Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Lance Armstrong.  Williams currently uses the Mobli app to update what she is doing at the 2012 London Olympics.  Mobli was founded by Moshe Hogeg and the plan is to turn the platform into a visual search engine.  [TechCrunch]
