Apple Founding Contract Signed By Jobs, Wozniak, and Wayne Going For Auction Next Month


Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) co-founders Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne had drafted a three-page contract that established Apple Computer Co. The contract was drafted up and signed on April 1, 1976. This contract will be auctioned in New York next month and is expected to receive bids for as high as $150,000 according to Sotheby’s.

U.S. Patent Office Museum Showcases Steve Jobs’ Patents


The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office opened an exhibit last week that focuses on the patents that listed Steve Jobs as an inventor. The exhibit is located in the atrium of the Patent office’s Madison Building headquarters. The free exhibit has a portrait gallery and a theater. The Steve Jobs exhibit has 30 giant iPhone display panels that displays the front pages from over 300 patent and trademark filings that has Jobs’ name on them. Aaron Sorkin Is Thinking About Doing A Movie On Steve Jobs


I give Aaron Sorkin credit for being able to take a story that did not sound interesting on paper and turned it into an Academy Award winning movie about Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg called “The Social Network.” Now Sorkin is strongly considering screenwriting a movie about the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

Steve Jobs Considered Using WiFi To ‘Replace’ Phone Networks


The late Apple co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs had spent two years trying to figure out how to utilize WiFi spectrum for the iPhone to make phone calls rather than working with telecommunication companies. Essentially Jobs “wanted to replace carriers” said Trilogy Partners chairman John Stanton. “He and I spent a lot of time talking about whether synthetically you could create a carrier using Wi-Fi spectrum. That was part of his vision.”

Adobe Says Flash Rejection From Apple Was A Major Reason For Ending Mobile Initiatives


Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) principal product manager for developer relations Mike Chambers wrote a blog post detailing one of the major reasons why the company has decided to end initiatives for mobile development of the Flash Player. Chambers admitted that Apple’s decision not to support the Flash Player on iOS was a major reason why the company ended mobile initiatives.

Steve Jobs Interview Coming To Limited Number Of Theaters


Some missing interview footage of the late Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) CEO and co-founder of Steve Jobs has been found and it has been prepared for an actual documentary movie release for theaters. The footage was from 20 years ago as part of a miniseries that ran on PBS in the U.S. and Channel 4 in Britain. The documentary will be played at Landmark Theatres on November 16th and November 17th.

Steve Jobs’ Last Words: “OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.”


Mona Simpson is an op-ed contributor for the New York Times, a novelist, an English professor at UCLA, and she is the biological sister of the late Steve Jobs. On October 16, 2011 Mona Simpson delivered a eulogy for her brother at his memorial service at the Memorial Church of Stanford University. Her eulogy was published on the New York Times this past weekend. In the eulogy, Simpson revealed that before Jobs passed away, he looked at his sister Patty, then his children, and then his wife Laurene. Then he looked over their shoulders past them and said “OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.”
