Apple Receives Over 1 Million Steve Jobs Tributes


The late Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs passed away on October 5 after a tumultuous battle with pancreatic cancer. After Jobs passed away, Apple sent out a notice with an e-mail address to share memories and feelings about him (rememberingsteve@apple.com). Apple has received over one million tributes to the “Remembering Steve” e-mail address. People can still send tributes and they will be posted to the Apple website if approved.

Samsung Aiming To Block iPhone 4S Sales In 10 Countries Including Australia and Japan


Samsung Electronics has said that they wanted to stop the sale of the iPhone 4S in Japan and Australia. This appears to be payback because Apple successfully prevented Samsung from selling tablets in Australia. Samsung filed preliminary injunctions in the Tokyo District Court and in the New South Wales Registry.

Details about the death certificate of the late Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) co-founder was revealed by Bloomberg today. Steve Jobs’ death certificate showed that he passed away in his home in Palo Alto, California of respiratory arrest caused by a pancreatic tumor at about 3PM on October 5. The occupation on his death certificate was listed as “entrepreneur” in the “high tech” business.
