5 More Joost Invites. Who Wants Them?

About a couple weeks ago, I wrote I only had two left but it turns out that I was given 5 more. For those who want an invite, comment on this blog post with your email address. Joost streams high quality video pretty well. It rarely (if even) buffers assuming that you have some sort of broadband connection.
Two Joost Invites Left Till Tomorrow – Who Wants Them?

I signed up to participate as a Joost Beta tester back when it was known as The Venice Project. Now it turns out that the invitation program is closing down tomorrow. As you know, Joost is an interactive software where you can watch TV shows. The software was created by Niklas Zennström and Janus Friis. Zennström and Friis are also the founders of Skype and Kazaa.
Joost was created by around 150 software developers in half-dozen cities. The idea works around P2P as well. Joost is currently negotiating deals with various TV networks including MTV, BET, Paramount, and Warner.
I have two invites left. The first two people to comment on this post and leave their e-mail addresses [make sure its spam-proof (example: username *AT* something DOT COM)] will get the invites.
The Venice Project by the founders of Skype
The founders of Skype are at it again. This time with a vision that aims to converge television programming, user generated content and peer to peer networking within an interactive video site. According to Business Week, Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom are preparing to launch the public beta to their latest venture, The Venice Project, this November.
So far, the project’s website does not say much about what’s going on behind closed doors. According to the website, the project “combines the best things about television with the social power of the internet – a project that gives viewers, advertisers and content owners more choice, control and creativity than ever before.â€
It’ll be interesting to see the technological innovations of this project. The Skype founders are amazing entrepreneurs that know how to create good projects. So if the Venice Project is anything like Kazaa or Skype, it’ll definitely be a hit.
