One of the newest services from Business.com is Work.com. Work.com is a hub to find guides on How-to functions for businesses looking to improve processes. Currently there are over 1,000 guides on Work.com
Work.com describes their guides as being “straightforward, quick-read descriptions of how to get something done [about us].” As users are reading through the various guides, the community built around the website can rank how helpful the guides are, participate in discussion forums, make suggestions for new guides, and even write guides of their own. The Work.com guides are broken down into several categories including Money and Finance, Operatoins, Legal, Technology, Sales and Marketing, and also has guides for Startups.
I’ve read through a couple of guides pertaining to Operations and thought that some of the articles could be improved. However those same articles I read also suggested other blogs and websites to refer to in order to seek more information. So if you are not content with the guide, but are interested in the subject, there are alternative resources provided.
Business.com was created in 1999 by eCompanies. Although Business.com is privately-held, Benchmark Capital is a preferred stockholder since 2004.
