11:11 Systems Completes Acquisition Of Australian Cloud Firm Digital Sense

11:11 Systems, a managed infrastructure solutions provider, announced it has completed the acquisition of Digital Sense, a Brisbane-based cloud and managed services provider previously owned by Aussie Broadband. The deal strengthens 11:11 Systems’ position as a sovereign cloud provider in Australia and expands its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region.

The transaction comes amid significant changes within the VMware Cloud Service Provider ecosystem following Broadcom’s adjustments that have streamlined the number of authorized VMware partners. At the same time, Aussie Broadband launched its “Look-to-28” strategy, positioning itself squarely as a telecommunications provider rather than a broader technology company. As a result, Aussie Broadband decided to divest the Digital Sense cloud business to ensure customers retain access to specialized VMware cloud infrastructure.

11:11 Systems has been actively consolidating VMware-based cloud providers in recent years. Prior acquisitions include iland Cloud, Green Cloud Defense, Unitas Global, Sungard Availability Services, Faction, and Ntirety. With the addition of Digital Sense, the company has now completed its seventh acquisition of a former VMware Cloud Service Provider and its tenth acquisition overall, further deepening its operational and commercial expertise in VMware environments.

The company said the Digital Sense acquisition reinforces its commitment to growth and investment across APAC, expanding its presence in Australia and enhancing its ability to deliver cloud and managed services throughout the region. Through its global cloud platform and partner-first approach, 11:11 Systems provides cloud, connectivity, backup, cyber, disaster recovery, and security solutions designed to help customers modernize, protect, and scale mission-critical applications and data.

Aussie Broadband said the capital and specialization required to remain competitive in the evolving cloud market, combined with upcoming partner ecosystem changes expected in 2027, made 11:11 Systems a suitable long-term home for the Digital Sense cloud business, allowing Aussie Broadband to focus on its telecommunications strengths.
